This year, OC achieved a significant milestone, selling over 1100 properties, amounting to nearly $1.09 billion in property value. The devoted OC team conducted 6623 open inspections, drawing in around 46000 attendees. Meanwhile, our Property Management team expertly oversaw over 2000 properties, maintaining an outstanding customer satisfaction rating of 4.6/5.
The OC Projects team celebrated the remarkable sell-out of Otto Townhomes and Coast Henley Beach South, further solidifying trust in our brand. This success was accompanied by the addition of exciting new projects to our portfolio, including The Osmond, Verde in Athelstone, Rose Park Apartments, and 8+ confidential projects in the pipeline.
2023 also marked the inauguration of our new headquarters in Eastwood, providing an innovative workspace for our expanding team. To broaden our reach and enhance client services, OC strategically acquired boutique agencies such as Timms Real Estate, Bayly Real Estate, Elders Real Estate Glenelg, and Elite Real Estate Acquisition. These acquisitions not only expanded our footprint but also brought on board industry experts, reinforcing our commitment to excellence.
At OC, we believe in cultivating a positive work environment that encourages individual growth. In the past year, we initiated the OC PM cadetship program, established clear career pathways, revamped our sales leadership model, introduced employee health benefits, and continued to provide industry-leading training and resources. These initiatives resulted in an impressive employee retention rate of 99% and a staff engagement level of 89%.
